follow these tips to make your project lighter before compressing it to zip
introduction
  • This tool serves to gather the dpx rendered out of Color. In contrast to the tool bundled with Color, this tool
    • numbers each image according to the timecode of the shot : e.g. if the shot begins at timecode 01:00:00:00 of the timeline (@25 images/seconds), the image will have number 100000.dpx
    • leave holes in 2 shots when there is black between the shots. If shot 2 ends at timecode 01:00:10:00 and shot 3 begins at timecode 01:00:20:00, the last image of shot 2 will be numbered 90250, and the first image of shot 3 will be numbered 90500
    • holes between the 2 shots can be filled with the tool fill the gaps in a dpx image sequence
  • used with After Effects, Color allows dpx to masterize a color-grading in dpx rather that Quicktime movies : this is the best to shoot to film
1. upload the zipped Color project
exemple.colorproj.zip (remove)
2. operation
framerate :

timecode at which starts the second reel (example)
if not empty, a second reel will start at the given timecode
Proxys : gather also ignore

After Effects need the black image to be the same resolution as the rest of the timeline
