Post production tools for the Red Camera
This tool serves to send a Final Cut Pro timeline for r3d conform and color-grading in RedCine.
Once color-grading in RedCine is over, this tool also allows to return to Final Cut Pro, using color-graded rendered media rather than the proxys.
RedCine cannot handle more than 99 shots at a time
1. prepare the timeline
2. upload a Final Cut Pro timeline
fcp_timeline_demo_for_red.xml (remove)
3. parameters
in handles
the number of images to use as a reserve at the beginning of the shot (default : 0)
out handles
the number of images to use as a reserve at the end of the shot (default : 0)
media path (example)
the complete path of the directory where the r3d red files are
prefix of the RedCine renders
in RedCine, setup the 'Output Filename Specification to'
#Z3.mov

the first shot will be named
001.mov
timecodes of the RED files (example)
optional : to be used when the quicktime proxys used in the timeline do not have the exact same duration as the r3d files
download the application to list the timecodes of the RED files (OS X only)
